Fireplace Upgrade

I’ve been bored with my fireplace ¬†for a bit of time now…..

Fireplace Before with good reason, eh? I still had the vintage crate and garland in there from Christmas. Hello! It is March already lady!

So I was inspired by some pics on Pinterest with fireplaces filled with candles. I decided to incorporate the candle collection with a mirror to cast reflection and shadows.

I scored an awesome 8 x 12″ ¬†rectangular mirror from the Dollar Tree for the fireplace base.

137 (Small) I tagged a reminder in my phone to keep my eyes open for ivory and white candles on my Goodwill trips. I found a variety of ivory shades, height and sizes for less than $5.

Fireplace Refresh Never mind the soot marks on the walls, but I do love the look! The sphere candles are my favorite and the mirror really makes the evening glow breathtaking!

This project took less than $6 and can easily happen in your fireplace too. Spring is in the air, we don’t need a warm fire (hopefully in your area its warming up too), but I still love the glow coming from the fireplace no matter the temp.

What do you do with your fireplace through the non-holiday calendar year?
